Physico-chemical property	White rhombic or crystalline powder. Odorless, slightly sweet. It melts and decomposes at 256℃. Soluble in water, solubility of 20.5g/100ml at 25°C. The isoelectric point is PH6.16. Insoluble in ethanol, ether and chloroform.
